Traumatic Facial Nerve Palsy: A Case of Delayed-Onset High-Grade Paralysis Managed with Surgical Decompression

(a) Sagittal T2-weighted and (b) sagittal T1-weighted MRI images of the lumbosacral spine. The red arrows pointed to a Tarlov cyst at the S2 level. On the T2-weighted image, the cyst appearred hyperintense (bright), reflecting its fluid content consistent with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). In the T1-weighted image, the lesion was isointense to the CSF. The cyst was located within the sacral canal.
