Aim and scope

Medicine and Health (ISSN: 2289-2768) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality scientific research across the full spectrum of medicine and allied health sciences. The journal serves as a comprehensive, internationally accessible platform for clinicians, researchers, educators, and health professionals to disseminate evidence-based knowledge that advances clinical practice, biomedical science, public health, patient safety, and health sciences education.

AIMS

The journal aims to:

Advance scientific knowledge in medicine and allied health sciences by publishing rigorous, evidence-based research that contributes to the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and management of human diseases and health conditions across the lifespan.

Promote multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research that integrates perspectives from diverse health science fields, including biomedical, clinical, behavioural, environmental, social, forensic, pharmacological, and complementary health sciences.

Bridge research and clinical practice by publishing findings with direct translational relevance to healthcare delivery, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and health systems improvement.

Champion open access publishing to ensure high-quality medical and health science research is freely and equitably accessible to the global scientific and clinical community, regardless of geographic or economic barriers.

Provide a platform for global and regional scholarship, welcoming contributions from researchers and clinicians worldwide, with particular recognition of research originating from Southeast Asia and low-to-middle-income country contexts.
