About Us

Medicine and Health, the official journal of the Faculty of Medicine UKM, is a bi-annual, open access, online journal, publishing high quality, peer-reviewed articles in all disciplines of medicine and health sciences, including dentistry, dietetics, medical education and nursing. Medicine and Health considers all original research articles, review articles, case reports and letters to editor. Other types of articles may also be considered upon suggestion to the Editorial Board. Articles in Medicine & Health are indexed and abstracted in Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
